Available also as a silk necktie.
The design is influenced by the stitches of a traditional male shirt from the Kapanian region in Bulgaria.
According to a legend Kapanians were descendants of a rebellious group of Bulgarian aristocrats, who disobeyed the Bulgarian King Boris I and were besieged in a trap or “kapan”. Even in recent ages, some of them were famous for being very proud and carrying a knife wrapped around their legs with which to protect their honor.
